Life isn’t about tomorrow ~ Life is about today
After losing her husband to a sudden heart attack, Tess Mathews escapes to Bora Bora to lay her husband and sorrow to rest. What she doesn’t expect is a new beginning.
Tom Clemmins is an A-list actor whose life revolves around work and an onslaught of women. He travels to Bora Bora for a much-needed break. Tom has a few ideas of how he’ll enjoy his vacation, but love isn’t one of them. Until he sees Tess.
Reserving a private shark-feeding excursion to scatter her husband’s ashes into the lagoon, Tess is furious when Mr. Hollywood bribes his way onto the boat, leaving her no other choice but to share the boat ride.
Tess is torn between tremendous guilt and zealous lust when their boat ride turns into a week full of romance and desire neither thought imaginable. Utterly smitten with a woman for the first time in his life, Tom casts his commitment phobia aside and whisks Tess off to Malibu where he introduces her as his “girlfriend” on the red carpet.
As the paparazzi besiege, can Tess survive the media blitz that ensues in order to find her second chance at love?

Loved this book! I laughed, got teary eyed, smiled and got inspired all by this story. Not only was this a  fun book to read, with no major angst, but it makes you think and relate to these characters. It was so refreshing that these characters weren’t 20 something but still full of life. I can’t, no I won’t think of my husband dying, and am so relieved that Beverly didn’t make the reader witness that. You would of found me in some corner rocking. Yes, there were a few emotional parts and I had the best hand holder ever (the author Beverly Preston) but you really don’t need it! I just keep messaging her and begging for extra scenes!  The emotion wasn’t so much sadness but excepting and cherishing what was, but also learning to live as well. Tess suffer a great loss, Tom has a dream life that is mostly empty and together they start to live but can they make in the real world. Let’s by honest I could probably fall in love with a coconut tree in Bora Bora.

Tess was very inspiring to me not only did suffer this loss and break down but she climb back into the driver seat and faced things head on. Her relationship with her kids was written perfectly, and left you wanting to know more about them (which I found out we will get the chance starting in early summer). Tom, Mr. Hollywood I really thought this book was going to be about Tess have to straighten him out, but he really turn out to be a great guy and he can surprise me any day!  I feel like I’m already telling you to much, so race out and get the book! Then read it immediately you will not be disappointed and you may even be fanning yourself every few pages, yes Beverly can write some steamy scenes. I almost think she needs to fly every reader to Bora Bora, so we can really get a feel for the book. Okay I’ll let her off the hook for writing a great book, she can just take me!
