After waiting many months for this sequel I was more than excited to dig in and see how Ms. French was going to conclude the story of the Princess and her Knight. I have to say I really loved it. It was predictable but that’s not something that bothers me. I like when a book goes the way that I want it to go and I will never complain about that. My only real complaint was that this time around the sex wasn’t as hot as it was in the first book. This is not to say that the sex in this sequel isn’t hot, that’s not the case at all. There just weren’t any unexpected sex scenes in this book. They were much more adventurous the first time around. I was worried at first about the issue between Sophie and her husband Dan and what might happen between them. However, Ms. French handled the situation nicely. I was glad she didn’t use the situation as an opportunity to drag the story out longer than it needed to be. I loved that there was an epilogue and that Lucien and Sophie finally had their happily ever after. I enjoyed this series and highly recommend it to anyone that likes a hot and steamy romance novel.
