My favorite books are those that have a story that grabs you and holds on to you. Those one’s that take over ever aspect of your life. You know, the one’s you think about while making dinner, stopped at a red light or grocery shopping. The Perfect Someday did that for me.
I daydreamed about traveling to Europe, about drinking wine and I don’t drink wine! I was plucked out of my life, and dropped into Beverly Preston’s words. With each page I fell a little more. I felt Tracy’s each emotion. I found myself wanting to climb in and be part of the story. I went from one emotion to the next, turning each page and losing myself into the story. It got to the point, where I was afraid of each passing page, worried not only about what was to come, but of it ending. Every detail rang true, as if you were watching it happen or hearing your best friend describe it over drinks. I found The Perfect Someday so vivid, and alive. I craved more.
I loved how this book, wasn’t full of unneeded drama. The Perfect Someday had no big games between characters, just a full story that kept you on your toes (and maybe fascinating about a life making wine). I was definitely seduced and fell in love with this story.
So, if your ready for a vacation, an amazing story or just a great book: THIS IS IT. You’ll relate to Tracy, she’s the girl next door or your best friend or even you. She lives life with caution, or at least with thinking everything through. And you’ll love the trip she takes you on. It’s in Tuscany, with Italian men! Need I say more…..

This series went by too fast. I love the wedding, it was beautiful. But I wanted more, I feel like there’s a whole between this novella and the last book. I want more, I want to know every detail. Still I was very happy to finally get their HEA. Kelli really wrapped up their relationship nicely, bring it full circle. But we are getting more right???? I’ll even take Joan’s story!! lol

I don’t like giving negative reviews. I realize authors spend hours pour them selves into the pages. I did finish this book and I like the story idea. It just fell flat to me. There was no real emotion, this story had a build up and in the end I was disappointed. I felt like this story could of really taken off. Instead it just scratched the surface. I also kept getting all the extra characters confused. I really don’t know why there was seven other characters living in the house, then the author brought in more. I don’t know I was disappointed, I felt like this story could of been so much more….

But there is the little problem of Lucas Matthews. Former basketball star and total campus hottie, Lucas is the stuff girls have naughty dreams about—and he has the reputation to prove it! But that doesn’t stop liquid heat from running through Katie’s veins every time she sees him…

I can’t seem to stop thinking about this book. The story line was so unique with the direction it took. Katie intrigued me, and Lucas almost seemed to be to good be true. I really enjoyed how their story was knitted together. I wanted more, not just at the end but at times I wanted a little bit more of a peak at her secret. Or a little more of focus on it. I had a small issue with her sister not being more in-tuned with her. I mean they were twins. But my small little issues did not take anything away from the story. Two important things worked for this book, it was believable and I wasn’t bored. Plus I can’t stop thinking about it, I want more Lucas and Katie. Great first love story!

This is a mild dark edge book. I did enjoy it and felt that the author did a great job with it. Especially, being a debut novel for her. When I first started reading, I wasn’t sure if I would like it. I wasn’t sure I liked Tess or Brax, I certainly didn’t like the kidnappers. That being said, I think that was the authors point, not only is unimaginable things happening, but she’s lost with in herself. Holding on to things she may not be happy with. Denying parts of herself, letting fear control her. I felt the characters grow and change. The secrets around weren’t transparent, which keep me on my toes. I was eager to put the pieces together. Excited by the changes they made, and trying to thread everything together. I would love to read more of their story, but half of me is happy where they are. I’m a bit scared something could go wrong. I may need a hand holding reading partner for it. So if you like dark, you wouldn’t want to miss out of this series and the 3rd book is out soon. Plenty of time to read the this and Quintessentially Q. And those of you who have always want to try a dark novel, I think this is a great one to read!

Oh, my! This series is killing me! This book turned everything upside down. I finished this book with one thought, how in the world am I liking Joan!!! OMG!!! Seriously! It may have to do this how irritated I was with the other characters. I mean I love Merrick, but hello stubborn man!! He can’t seem to see the big picture!! And Rachael stand up for yourself and stop tiptoeing around. I always suspected that we would get a huge twist, but I didn’t see all the chaos that would take place in between. Nadia made Joan look like a saint. I really want to know how much she really knew and what she was really after. Although, I’m not sure I could take it. I did enjoy this book, it really grabbed me and sucked me in. Even though I wanted smack each of them at a time or two I couldn’t put this book down! Buck up you’re in for a wild ride. Oh, and Kelli I’m almost ready for my Team Joan t-shirt!

I’ve loved this series for ever. I’m so excited to have read it and be able read it and reread it whenever I want. This story is an emotional one, unique in every way. Heartbreaking and touching, one that I will carry with me.It’s not all doom and gloom. No it’s a beautiful story of an artist that pushes the limits. He puts his art on flesh not canvases and seems to see Tenley like no one has in a long time if ever. He see’s the fragile broken girl but also see’s her strength and the connection they share erases some of the fractured lines in their hearts. The heat they shares has them losing control and breaking rules and barriers.
I escaped into this book, living in the pages as they played out like a movie on a big screen in front of me. Tenley and Hayden were more then characters in a book, they have been friends I lost touch with. Friends who’s lives have experiences challenges and so much. The story they tell – staggered me.
I wanted to scream and yell, and shake them too. Everyone knows secrets are bad, and the longer you hold them in the worse the are, when they come out. Only I too couldn’t bare for the other to know. I mean how do you share something like that, something you know will break you apart and break you down all over again. How can the other understand, when you can barely make sense of it yourself? How can you say the words, when those words will send you spiraling out of control? How do you survive all that? How do you take a deep breath, when every breath you take is the hardest breath you’ve breathed?
Both Tenley and Hayden carry so much guilt around. Both having unbearable pasts, and struggle to come to grips with it all. Both trying to navigating a future that they feel they don’t deserve. I can’t wait to see what the next book holds, I’m counting down.
