Dark, brooding Nash Donovan might not remember her or the terrible pain he caused. But he turned her world upside down . . . and now he’s trying to do it again.
Saint has no idea that Nash isn’t the cocky player he once was. Uncovering a devastating family secret has rocked his world, and now he’s struggling to figure out his future. He can’t be distracted by the pretty nurse he seems to meet everywhere. Still, he can’t ignore the sparks that fly between them—or how she seems so desperate to get away from him. But the funny, sweet, and drop-dead gorgeous Saint is far too amazing to give up on—especially since she’s the only thing in his life that seems to make sense.
When Nash discovers the truth about their past, he realizes he may have lost her heart before he could even fight for it. Now, Saint has to decide: is Nash worth risking herself for all over again?

There’s nothing I love more than being completely in love with a book series. Marked Men is definitely one of the series that I absolutely love. Not do I always love the new boys that I meet, but it also gives me the opportunity to check in on the other boys that I love. Jay Crownover has the remarkable talent of developing her characters so well that you become completely invested in their story. Nash is a beautiful story, just like the other Marked Men, Nash knows just how to love a woman and accept her for everything that she is. With every book I think that Jay won’t be able to create the same magic, but she always does! I can’t wait to read Rowdy’s story!
When Bree Prescott arrives in the sleepy, lakeside town of Pelion, Maine, she hopes against hope that this is the place where she will finally find the peace she so desperately seeks. On her first day there, her life collides with Archer Hale, an isolated man who holds a secret agony of his own. A man no one else sees.
Archer’s Voice is the story of a woman chained to the memory of one horrifying night and the man whose love is the key to her freedom. It is the story of a silent man who lives with an excruciating wound and the woman who helps him find his voice. It is the story of suffering, fate, and the transformative power of love.
THIS IS A STAND-ALONE NOVEL. The first three books in the series need not be read to enjoy this book. New Adult Contemporary Romance: Due to strong language and sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18.
Book Heaux Rating: A Gazillion STARS!!!!
OK, so the first thing you need to do is… GO BUY THIS BOOK!
Just like every other book by the lovely and talented Mia Sheridan, Archer’s Voice blew me AWAY! This book is unlike any other book you’ve read or will read. AND if you do end up reading a book similar to this in the future… That Author learned from Sensei Mia! This book was so good that I got pissed at my family when they tried to pull me away from it. I didn’t want to cook, clean, or sleep.. I just wanted to read more about Archer and Bree.
Archer is unlike any other book hero you’ve ever met. Which was good for me because I’ve just about had enough of the filthy rich, playboy, alpha-male.
Archer’s story is touching, Bree’s story is touching and together they make a new story that’s just…. Beautiful.
“I had his heart, and his thoughts, and him. And it was more than enough. In fact, it was everything.”
So beautiful that I tried to talk Mia into keeping Archer between her and I… I didn’t want to share him! LOL!
But, in the end we both agreed that there was enough of him to go around 😀
Not only is Archer hot!
“I had never seen at 8 pack, but there it was, right in front of me. I guessed that even slightly strange, silent hermits weren’t exempt from exceptional physiques.”
But he’s diabetic coma inducing sweet
“What I know, is that you walked through my gate that day and I lost my heart. But not because it could have been any girl-because it was you. I lost my heart to you. And Bree, in case you’re wondering. I don’t ever want it back.
And knows just how to love a woman.
I decided that I was more interested in focusing on the great privilege I’ve been given in having you at all.
Doesn’t he sound perfect to you ladies? Because he does to me. Have a seat on your throne Queen Mia! You deserve it!

Rome (Marked Men #3)
Author: Jay Crownover
Publication Date: January 7, 2014
Publisher: William Morrow an imprint of HarperCollins Publishing
Event organized by: Literati Author Services, Inc.
Cora Lewis is a whole lot of fun, and she knows how to keep her tattooed bad boy friends in line. But all that flash and sass hide the fact that she’s never gotten over the way her first love broke her heart. Now she has a plan to make sure that never happens again: She’s only going to fall in love with someone perfect. Rome Archer is as far from perfect as a man can be. He’s stubborn and rigid, he’s bossy and has come back from his final tour of duty fundamentally broken. Rome’s used to filling a role: big brother, doting son, super soldier; and now none of these fit anymore. Now he’s just a man trying to figure out what to do with the rest of his life while keeping the demons of war and loss at bay. He would have been glad to suffer it alone, until Cora comes sweeping into his life and becomes the only color on his bleak horizon. Perfect isn’t in the cards for these two, but imperfect might just last forever . . .

I’ve been a huge fan of Jay Crownover from about the second page of “Rule.” There’s just something about her writing that makes you fall in love with every single character she introduces you to. The skepticism I felt before reading Jet reappeared when I started Rome. I was nervous, thinking that I might not love this book the way I loved the others. That she couldn’t possible recreate the same magic again. But just like she did for Rule and Jet… She hooked me, in the very first chapter. This book is a great continuation for anyone who loved her first two.Situations and emotions that were left unresolved are addressed in Rome.
And now let’s talk about Rome! As messed up as he was on the inside… He sure was hot!
He had short, dark hair cropped close to his head, and over the reflective lenses of the sunglasses there was no missing a jagged white scar that hooked through his eyebrow and down next to his eye. His face had a vivid intensity about it that just made him stupidly hot. Even without that body he was bound to make the opposite sex stupid. Panties across the nation would melt.
Are you drooling after reading that? Cuz I am!
And then of course we have Cora. HOLY HELL!!!!!! Those two are smoking hot! Sparks fly from the moment these two have their first interaction and I found myself on the edge of my seat..Waiting for Cora to continuously give him major tongue lashings.
We don’t need all that negative, Captain No-Fun. Why don’t you go spread your doom and gloom somewhere else?
Yes, Tiny Ms. Cora packed a mean punch. These two were just awesome together, both needing to be loved but in very different ways. You know what else is awesome about this book, you don’t have to suffer through ridiculous bouts of angst. Are there problems? Sure! But nothing that would cause me to shut my kindle and throw it on the floor for a few hours. This book is honestly just a beautiful story about love. And it’s awesome.. And I want more.. Soon! Please don’t keep us waiting too long Jay!

I’m supposed to share interesting details about myself so that my readers get to know me so here we go in no particular order: I’m an natural redhead even though I haven’t seen my real hair color in years, I’m a big fan of tattoos and have a half sleeve on either arm and various other pieces all over the place, I’ve been in the bar industry since I was in college and it has always offered interesting insight into how men and women interact with each other, I have 3 dogs that are all crazy, I live in Colorado and love the snow, I love music and in all reality wish I could be a rock star not a writer or a bartender but I have zero talent so there is that.
I love to write, love to read and all I’m interested in is a good story with interesting characters that make the reader feel something.
They fell in love in high school and found their way back to one another despite the odds. But can first loves really be forever? For Reed Johnson, the dream was always football. But then Nolan Lennox took over his heart. Is he willing to give up his first love just to keep his true love? Or will he be too late? Reed and Nolan’s story continues in “Going Long,” sequel to “Waiting on the Sidelines.
Book Heaux Rating: 5 Stars
I was completely obsessed with Nolan and Reed after I read “Waiting on the Sidelines” and “Going Long” did everything necessary to feed my obsession.Things started off sweet and perfect! I was swooning, blushing and my heart was constantly pounding in my chest…. It was nice. LOL!
Then sh*t hit the fan! These two just couldn’t get it right. I wanted to scream at them! Shake them! and then push them into a broom closet and not allow them to leave until to talked to each toerh… Like REALLY talked. I mean seriously their communication skills sucked ass, but then again.. they were only 20 years old. The good thing about stress and angst in a book is that it makes you appreciate happiness that much more. And after all that Reed and Nolan had been through I REALLY APPRECIATED THEIR HAPPINESS!
I loved this series, I love Megan for recommending it and most of all I love Ginger Scott for writing it… And I need more books like this 🙂
Nolan Lennox had things figured out. Named after a baseball legend, she enjoyed being the Tomboy, her closet filled with her brother’s hand-me-downs, cut-off jeans and soccer shorts. But when her first trip to high school results in a broken heart from the first boy to ever make her heart flutter and cruel words from an older girl she once thought a family friend, Nolan starts to question the very person she thought she was and wonders if her humble upbringing can compete with the afforded luxuries of her privileged peers.
Throughout the next four years, Nolan struggles to maintain herself throughout her path of discovery, learning just how cruel teenagers can be through the pressures of underage drinking, sexuality and class. And despite how life seems to continue to work against her, she still manages to listen to her heart, falling deeper and deeper for the guy the entire town adores, even if he only sees her as a friend. Can Nolan strike a compromise between her own integrity and the boy she loves? And can she make him notice her before it’s too late?
Reed Johnson came to Coolidge High School with a lot of fanfare. The son of a hometown football legend and the brother of a local football hero, Reed wore all the pressures of carrying a town without hope into the spotlight. Thankfully, he had the talent to back it up. But when he meets a girl who makes him think twice about exactly what being a hero means, he starts to wonder if following in his brother’s footsteps might be all wrong.
Nolan Lennox was everything that was opposite of expected. She didn’t flirt, she didn’t drink and she didn’t sleep around. Nothing about her was easy, but something about her made Reed want to try harder. Though she didn’t look the part, she seemed to be spending a lot of time in Reed’s thoughts, and he wondered if she could be the one who made it all worthwhile. But could Reed handle letting her down? And would breaking her heart break him beyond repair?
Waiting on the Sidelines explores young love to its fullest, exposing how real young heartbreak and passion is and how important it is to discover yourself and hold onto your own identity. The story follows two young characters as they deal with mature situations, including the prevalence of bullying and promiscuity in today’s high school setting. Ultimately, Waiting on the Sidelines is a story of hope, honesty and those powerful, first true loves–the ones worth holding onto at any cost.

Sometimes I get a book craving. It could be for major angst, a good cry, hot sex, in this particular case I was jonesing for a great young adult book. Lemme just say…I am forever indebted to the reader who recommended this book to me.
You ever read a book that sucks you in so deep you become desperate for the happiness of the main characters? That is how I felt reading Waiting on the sidelines, while I was reading this book nothing was more important to me than Nolan and Reed’s happiness. ESPECIALLY not my husbands many unwelcome attempts at striking up a conversation with me. You would think he would know better by now!
Anyway, back to the book!.
I FREAKIN LOVED IT! I loved it so much I literally didn’t stop once I started it. It was such a realistic look at High School years, those jitters you feel when you meet your first love. Jealousy, mean girls, bullies, and betrayal. And it touched me, deeply! My heart ached for Nolan as she kept her head up, facing the many struggles of High School. This girl didn’t have much financially, but she showed such poise and maturity that I absolutely loved her!
And Reed, lord knows he pissed me off more than once but I couldn’t help but love him a root for him. Even when I wanted to slap some sense into him. I loved this book and I can not wait to read Going Long!
Luke Kessler loved Emmy.
She broke his heart.
Then she revealed a life altering secret that brought them back together.
Time and forgiveness heal old wounds and love flourishes. Luke and Emmy find themselves reaching for a happily ever after together. When their pasts begin to push into their present and hurtful mistakes are made, the couple struggle with each other and their past demons. How much is too much? Will the couple be able to fight their way to a happily ever after? Are their lives together worth the fight?

LOVED THIS BOOK! LIKE… Obsessively loved it! After reading Accidentally On Purpose I always wondered how Luke was feeling after the breakup and when he found out about the baby I wondered about that too. LITTLE DID I KNOW Mr. Kessler had all of this other stuff going on. It was angsty, juicy and jaw dropping at times. But in the end it made for a good read and great closure for those of us who simply love Emmy and Luke as a couple.
“We saved each other. We fought for each other and our lives together. We are worth the fight.”
“When you know in your bones, right down to the cellular level, that you are supposed to be with someone, it is hard to simply walk away.”
Great Job LD…
I can’t wait to find out who Donya looked at when she was at the wedding… HEHEHEHEH!

I had big dreams of how I wanted my life. Becoming a rock star was all I wanted. It would solve so many of my problems. With the money that I would make I was going to take care of my mom, get her out of the hell hole we had been living in all my life. Having your dreams come true isn’t something that many people get to accomplish in life. I did, and I loved it.
For about a minute…
It’s funny how when you think you have everything you could possible every want, your dreams change. Mine did without my even realizing it. Then I opened my eyes and saw that everything I ever wanted was standing in front of me.
From the first day I set eyes on Emmie she became a part of me. The guys and I spent years watching over her, caring for her… Loving her. Then without my realizing it my love for her changed. I found myself aching for her, wanting her in a way that a guy like me had no right to want her. My love and need for Emmie became an all-consuming ache that I was helpless to fight against.
Would she ever open those big green eyes and see me as anything but a friend?

Oh Terri Anne! How I love you for bringing “Demon’s Wings” into my life. There’s nothing that I love more than a love story that warms the heart. Not a rich womanizer that can pretty much get any woman he chooses. BUT a deeply broken soul who needs love to pull him out of the dark. I love each and everyone of these guys and their happiness makes me happy. I especially enjoyed this story because I always thought that Emmie’s version was way too short and there were many situations where I wondered what Nic was thinking. If you love beautiful love story… You will love ALL of the Rocker Books.
Thank you Terri Anne for reawakening my love of the bad boy rocker…. I love Demon’s Wings and I can’t wait to read everything else you write!
