Hi Monica. Thank you so much for taking the time out to do this interview with us. One Week Girlfriend pulled me out of a serious reading rut and now I’m a big time fan of yours!
Thank you so much Karleigh I appreciate you asking me these great questions! I love that OWG pulled you out of a reading rut. I’m flattered.
Ok, first we will start with a few serious questions, and then do some rapid fire.
Where did you get the idea for this series?
I saw a local newscast about a teacher who was arrested for having sex with her 17 year old male student. It started my brain churning about the differences teen boys who are victims of molestation and how they’re viewed versus teen girls. Then it sort of took off from there…
What is your favorite scene from each book?
One Week Girlfriend – the scene in the back of the car when Drew and Fable first kiss.
Second Chance Boyfriend – the scene where Fable’s out with Jen and she texts Drew to come see her. That moment when the girls are gushing about how hot he is and Fable’s smug knowing that he’s all hers…that was fun to write. Oh and the end of SCB too. I cried when I wrote those last lines.
What was the hardest scene for you to write in each book?
Anything to do with Drew and Adele and what she did to him—those scenes just broke my heart. OWG was harder to write versus SCB only because he was dealing with a lot of terrible stuff in the first book and unable to talk about it to anyone. I can’t imagine what that would be like.
What are you working on next?
I am…working on something right now I can’t discuss! But I hope I can say something soon.
Rapid-fire questions. Don’t think, just answer.

The most important lesson I’ve learned about love: It’s not easy but when you find it and make it work, it’s definitely worth it.
If I could pick four people to have dinner with, dead or alive, I’d choose: Um, my husband and three kids? I really like those people so…LOL.
Sex on the first date is: Sometimes a mistake and hey, sometimes not. 😉
The illegal thing I would do if I could get away with it: Jewelry thief
The quality I like most in a man: Sense of humor
The comfort food I crave most: chocolate cake
The best gift I’ve ever been given was: My daughter! She was born two days before my birthday.
Most Embarrassing moment: Tripped and fell in front of a bunch of people

So I had the wonderful opportunity to meet and interview Christina and Lauren, Authors of Beautiful Bastard. Originally I had planned to type everything up, but this interview was so much fun… I think it’s better to actually listen.
Those ladies are sweet, they have a really great vibe AND Christina promised to teach me a few tricks with a curling iron…
I didn’t forget about that Christina 🙂
We are running a giveaway of a signed paperback copy of Beautiful Beginnings:

I hope you guys enjoy this as much as I enjoyed doing it!
Lauren (on the left) and Christina (on the right) have been writing all kinds of stories together since 2009. This is not the first erotic romance they’ve ever written . . . but it is the first one under this name. Separated by the pesky state of Nevada, these co-author besties talk several times a day, agree that Ruby Pumps is the best nail polish color ever, and would, if given the choice, spend all day staring at the ocean from the San Clemente pier.
Avery Hale had spent her whole childhood abused by her drunken, hopped-up parents. Broken from a lifetime of hate and pain she grew up realizing that trust and love just didn’t exist. Not in her world at least.
After turning the age of eighteen, she packed up and moved far away determined to escape her hurtful past and start a new life. Once on her own she comes to the conclusion that the emptiness still exist. Doing what she had to to survive she found herself mixed up in exotic dancing and meaningless sexual relationships unable to feel anything, for anyone. She was sure that her life was worthless and there was nothing left for her. Or, she thought.
After meeting a beautiful stranger, Jace, her life suddenly is turned upside down. Everything that she truly believed suddenly gets questioned and then she is left to figure out if there is really more to her than she could ever have imagined. Jace, having some secrets of his own puts the pain of his own past behind to do what he can to help Avery. Can the love of another broken person be enough to help Avery, or is she already too far gone?
Avery’s life is pulled in many directions as she tries to find herself, and not everyone and thing is what they seem to be in this story of love, trust and opening up. Finding herself and learning to love herself might just be the hardest thing she’s ever had to do.
My heart stopped and suddenly it was hard to breathe. His voice always had that effect on me. It was like poison slowly running through my veins killing me bit by bit. Like a drug that I couldn’t get enough of even though I was almost down to my last breath.
Jace took a step forward and grabbed my hand. He slowly trailed his fingers over my face and backed me into the wall. My heart stopped again if that was even possible. “You can’t leave,” he whispered. “I need you.” His warm breath kissed my lips as he bit his bottom lip and placed both of his hands around my face. They were warm and soft to the touch. Too big for my fragile face, although I wanted to bury myself in them. “Breathe. There is no one here but the two of us. Breathe,” he whispered.
Suddenly, my bedroom door swung open to Jace standing there breathless. His bare chest was hot and wet from the sweat that covered his body and dripped down to the top of his low hanging jeans. I wanted nothing more than to reach out and touch him. To feel the firmness of his bare skin under my fingertips.
“Jace,” I breathed.
His eyes pierced through mine as he took a step toward me, causing my back to press up against the wall. He ran his tongue over his bottom lip and grabbed the back of my neck, wrapping his fingers in my hair. A gasp escaped my parted lips as he yanked my neck to the side, running his fingers over my skin, and grabbed my hip. “Do you want me?” he questioned, breathless.
I stared at him in disbelief. I didn’t know what to say and I was at a loss for words. “I don’t…what?” I questioned, feeling lost.
He stared me in the eye, walked me backwards, and softly pushed me onto the edge of my bed. He slowly laid down on top of me, spreading my legs, as he rubbed his hand up my right arm.
The feel of him sent a shiver up my spine and caused my legs to shake as he placed his body between my open legs. His jaw clenched as he leaned in, placing his lips back to mine.
His body pressed into me even more, causing us both to moan into each other’s mouths. Then with shaky hands, he reached under my skirt and gripped my thong in his hand. “I want you so bad,” he whispered.

Hi Wendy, we are so excited to interview the mastermind behind the hot and sexy Hamden Hotties! Book Heaux is seriously obsessed with Seth and Three Of Hearts if the first book she ever reviewed as a blogger! So thank you for that.
*Giveaway Link At the Bottom*
We will start with a few basic questions and then jump to a speed round.
Where did you come up with the Hamden Series idea?
Hamden has been in my brain for a long time. Seth (Hamden Hottie #1) has been in my overworking brain for as long as I can remember. He is a mixture of my dream, my reality, a little bit of this person, a lot of that person and so forth. As far as the setting, being a New England girl myself, there is no place I’d rather set my stories.
Who is your favorite Hamden Hottie? (Yes you have to choose just one).
I love all my Hamden Hotties, but like my favorite Book Heaux, Seth will always hold my Heart. Dylan can hold my hand and Wes can hold my…uh, well…I’ll keep it clean 😉
What is your favorite scene from Three of Diamonds?
Oh, that is a tough one. Olympus was a lot of fun to create and write. Boyd was such an amazing character, so most of his scenes I enjoyed. But let’s be honest, wouldn’t be me if it wasn’t about the sex. So, with all that being said…the WINDOW!
What is the hardest scene you have ever written?
The bar fight scene in Hearts was tough because I knew there was a chance people would not recover from that. But that is one of the things I love about writing, no one can tell me if it is right or wrong.
Omg that bar fight scene in hearts was a killer!!!!! Ugh!!!! I wanted to drop kick Seth!! But, then I remembered that he’s a brick house and instead of him dropping I would probably break a bone! Lol
What can we expect next from you?
Hamden is not over…not by a long shot. There will be at least two more books in the series with a possibility of six. Yup, you heard me. Six more Hamden Hotties!
Speed Round… Don’t think, just answer!
