Summary from the author:
Anya Gage has learned that to get anything good in life, you have to work for it. She has no expectations, no dreams.
Then she finds herself at a party where she doesn’t want to be and she meets Knight.
Knight Sebring knows who he is, what he wants and what he likes. And he gets it. But he never expected something as sweet as Anya Gage to wander into his bedroom during a party he did not expect to be having to borrow his phone.
Knight tries to leave Anya to the life she deserves of white picket fences and a man who watches football on Sundays – good, normal and clean. But when Anya comes to his nightclub and finds herself in a situation, he knows someone has to look after her, he can’t fight it anymore and he decides that man will be him.
Knight teaches Anya that, just as with the bad, in life you should also expect the good. And he teaches her this by giving it to her.
But Knight has a dark past and just as he desires Anya for exactly who she is, he fears when she finds out exactly the man he has become and always intends to be, she’ll leave him for good, normal and clean.
WOW!!!! Just WOW!!! I had no idea what to expect when I started reading this book but found myself pleasantly surprised after just a few minutes of starting it. Let me warn you right now, this is not your typical feel good sexy romantic love story. This is about a guy who deals in illegal businesses but still strives to have a regular loving life with the woman he loves. He knows what he does for a living is not acceptable, and illegal, in society but he’s involved in the business because he wants to provide the women that work for him a safe environment. He understands that women will always work in the sex industry and so he sees an opportunity to allow these women to sell their bodies in the most safe way possible by providing security for the women and checking out all clientele. So Knight becomes a hero not only to these women selling their bodies but also to his woman Anya for whom he will do anything necessary to protect. It was an interesting story line and I absolutely fell in love with Knight. He takes Alpha male to a whole new level for me. He is demanding and bossy and takes what he wants, when he wants. And Anya loves it. I loved her innocence and the fact that she had a pretty rough life up until the night she meets Knight for the first time. It was nice to see a woman who had been struggling to make her way through the world alone for so long meet a man who loved her and wanted to take care of her. This story is certainly not for the faint of heart as there are many taboo subject addressed in this story. The sex scenes were smoking hot. Knight is brusk, controlling and down right hot and so damn bossy I couldn’t even believe it. I loved it! I loved that he made Anya call him Daddy while in the bedroom. Kristen Ashley managed to pull it off flawlessly. The dialogue is a little hard to get used to at first. It’s a little more abrupt and not at all flowery like your usual romance novels. Knight is abrupt and short with his demands the way you would expect someone like his character to talk. A lot of times authors make even the bad guys sound like they are well read and educated men. It always makes the story line so much less believable for me. Kristen Ashley’s take on the bad guy actually being able to be a good guy made for a really interesting and fu read for me. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves their alpha male heroes and of course super hot, and controlling, sex scenes. I just want people to be aware that the story line might be unexpected, and morally unacceptable, but it should not deter anyone from reading this really well written book. It is fiction after all. I am very much looking forward to the other books in this series.

Summary from the author:
At The Den nothing is off limits… In an idyllic mountain setting on a dozen secluded acres of land, Master Damien Lowell has made his spectacular Colorado home—the Den—available to a select group of people. Doms and subs are invited to explore the intricate nuances of dominance and submission, of sadism and masochism, of exquisite bondage, and strict discipline.
The Den—where the wildest of fantasies becomes reality, lives are transformed, and limits are shattered.
Book Four in the Mastered series.
Things couldn’t get worse. It was bad enough that Maggie had to spend the days with her boss and nemesis. Now to find out he’s a Dom at her favourite place to play?
Maggie Carpenter needs an escape from her everyday life and her overbearing boss. David Tomlinson has ruined her life and career by acquiring her family’s business and tying her to an untenable employment contract.
So she and her friend head for an evening at the Den to explore their wildest fantasies…only to find David there looking ridiculously sexy with a bare chest and a set of handcuffs attached to his belt loop.
David is just as shocked to find his spitfire employee at the Den. He leans against the wall, watching, unable to wrap his mind around the idea that the woman who constantly challenges him might be a sub. But when another Dom approaches her and she casts her gaze down, he sees another side of her.
His reaction to the submissive Maggie is immediate and sizzling hot and so is the unwelcome jealousy he experiences. He’s always had a strict no-fraternisation rule, but he’s determined to have her in his cuffs before the evening is out, despite the dozens of reasons he shouldn’t. He wants Maggie surrendered to him, in his cuffs, literally as well as figuratively.
I am going to start sounding like a broken record with all of my Sierra Cartwright book reviews because this woman seriously doesn’t know how to write a bad book. I loved it! I loved dominant business man Mr. David Tomlinson. I loved the strong, independent yet submissive Maggie. Just like with all of her other books, Ms. Cartwright did an excellent job breaking down the dynamics of the Dominant and submissive relationship between Mr. Tomlinson and Maggie. I especially loved that although Maggie was an excellently trained submissive in the bedroom, she was fiercely independent in her professional life. I loved the way Maggie was able to handle just about everything that David subjected her too. Not only was she able to handle it but she encouraged David to be harsher and more aggressive with her. Even when David warned Maggie before their first scene together that he would make her cry she was confident enough to challenge his claim. She almost made it through the entire story without every being brought to tears. As expected the sex was fire scorching hot. Ms. Cartwright really knows how to write a good panties dropping sex scene. I think what I really loved most about this book was how straight forward it was. These two people worked together but never really got along personally. After Maggie unexpectedly runs into her boss at The Den and they scene together for the first time, she quickly realizes how unfairly she has been treating him while at work. The characters have good chemistry and they quickly fall in love with each other. Maggie needs David’s dominance. Each time they are together she comes to realize how much more she grows to depend on him and even though it scares her a little when she realizes this, she never makes a run for it like most female characters do in these erotic love stories. We are not tortured with silly misunderstandings that serve no other purpose than to make the book longer than it really needs to be. That absolutely drives me crazy. I highly recommend this book to everyone that loves a good BDSM love story. It is book four in a series but the story is a stand alone so the reader does not have the read the previous books to be able to understand what is happening in this story. Looking forward to book five coming out in November!
Favorite Quotes from the book:“Now kneel, Maggie.” Something primitive, as old as the heartbeat of time, responded to his dominance. Looking up at him, she obeyed. Her face was near his crotch, and the masculine scent of him combined with the power of his body to make her feel utterly feminine. “Mine,” he said as he buckled the collar closed. She was scared that was true, and more frightened that it might not be.
The worldwide phenomenon continues as Eva and Gideon face the demons of their pasts, and accept the consequences of their obsessive desires…
From the moment I first met Gideon Cross, I recognized something in him that I needed. Something I couldn’t resist. I saw the dangerous and damaged soul inside–so much like my own. I was drawn to it. I needed him as surely as I needed my heart to beat.
No one knows how much he risked for me. How much I’d been threatened, or just how dark and desperate the shadow of our pasts would become.
Entwined by our secrets, we tried to defy the odds. We made our own rules and surrendered completely to the exquisite power of possession…
Just like most Crossfire fans I had been anxiously awaiting the third, and what I thought, was the final installment of the series. The delay in the publishing of this third book had left me a little irritated and to be honest I had forgotten some of the details from the previous books. I did not have time to reread the previous book with too many new release hitting this summer. I have to say I was not disappointed in the quality of the writing and the story. I was however disappointed that we are still left wondering about most of Gideon Cross’s secrets. Sylvia Day did not reveal enough in this third book and I am understanding why so many readers were really upset with her. I’m not sure there is enough of Ava and Gideon’s story left to warrant a fourth book. The sex scenes were of course top notch. Sylvia Day really knows how to write the best sexy love scenes out there. They are always tastefully done but very steamy. I know I will never be let down by her as far as that is concerned. The night club sex scene was one of my favorites in the book. Overall I think Sylvia Day did another fabulous job and the I was not disappointed when it came to the quality of the book. Again, my only disappointment is that this third book was not the final installment and we are still left wanting to know answers to questions from the beginning of the series. I also just realized that I am unsure when the fourth book is to be published. hoping we will not have to wait too long to finally get the answers we have been patiently waiting for. I have no problem highly recommend this book to all adult romance readers.

Summary from the author:
Twenty-one year old Amy Cross’s idea of a hot Saturday night is curling up with her favorite book boyfriend and secretly sneaking a bottle of her mother’s wine. That is, until she meets Austin Sparks, the biker boy with a past that burns like fire and a gaze she can’t look away from. Without knowing what she’s doing or why she’s doing it, Amy ends up on the road with Austin traveling from one city to another while learning things she’s only ever read about in romance novels.
At first it seems like Austin is Amy’s fantasy come true, but as their journey progresses, she starts to sense that Austin is running away from something. Amy knows that she’ll do whatever it takes to help him find himself. What she doesn’t expect is that she’ll lose herself in the process and how good it will feel to be free.
I absolutely LOVE this book. I was super excited when I learned that Ms. Stunich was releasing a biker novel. They’re so popular right now and ever since my hot encounter with Horse I’ve been addicted to these bad boy bikers. This book was refreshingly different from all the other biker novels I’ve read. It was hot, sexy and hilarious. I was hooked immediately and couldn’t put it down. This story has the stereo typical Christian virginal female lead and law breaking bad boy hero that rescues her from her overbearing narrow minded parents. The lead female character Amy was so incredibly funny, adorable and sexy. This book was such an unexpected surprise. I loved her addiction to romance novels and how she used what she learned, from these romance novels, in her first sexual encounters with the super hot bad boy Austin. Austin of course was the perfect alpha male biker with his tattooed arms and bulging muscles. I think my favorite parts in this book occurred during Amy’s inner monologues. They are some of the funniest dialogue I have ever read. I loved that Ms. Stunich gave us the story from both Austin, and Amy’s, points of view. I loved the hot chemistry between the characters and the sex scenes were so steamy. I have to say I also really loved the background story surrounding the activities of the biker club and was surprised when Austin’s big secret was revealed. The book is full of colorful supporting characters all of whom. I feel, deserve to have their own books written about them. I was very happy to learn that Ms. Stunich has decided to turn this stand alone into an actual series and I’m very much looking forward to the next book, which will be released June 25th. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good romance with some bad boy bikers and lots of laughs.
It was business only… Chelsea Barton is terrible at the whole submission thing, and she wants to snare the Dom of her dreams. She seeks out the renowned trainer Master Alexander. Alex has his hands full with Chelsea, especially when he realises he doesn’t want to turn her over to another man… Damn, damn, and double damn. This was so not supposed to happen. Chelsea Barton always gets what she wants, and she wants the up and coming rocker Evan C to accept her as his sub. But her performance always disappoints him. Determined to have her way, she begs Master Alexander Monahan to train her. Alex has given up training submissives, and no matter what, he would not work with someone as bold, headstrong, and stubborn as Chelsea. But there’s something about her that intrigues and impresses him, an enthusiasm that is missing from his too-dull life. Under very strict guidelines he agrees. She has to try her best. She has to submit uncomplainingly to his punishments. And there’s a two week obligation, after which they will part ways. Being a trainer is a very different relationship than a D/s, and despite his intentions to remain aloof, he starts to care deeply for the headstrong Chelsea. Chelsea unhesitatingly agrees to Master Alexander’s rules, after all, he’s going to give her the skills she needs to get what she wants. But, damn it, the longer she trains with him, the more she is attracted to his rugged good look as well as to his firm, but relentless ways. She reminds herself of her goals, but that becomes more difficult every day. For Alex, falling for a sub who will belong to another man was never part of the deal.
I am going to declare my love for Sierra Cartwright right here and now. This author doesn’t know how to write a bad book! This is the second book in the Mastered Series and I have to say I love this book just as much as I did the first. Ms. Cartwright can write a Master like it’s nobody’s business. Master Alexander is yet another one of her hot, sexy, steamy creations. I’m not sure how she does it. Master Alexander had my panties igniting right around page 16 when he told Chelsea to spread her legs, lift her skirt and grab her ankles. I was quietly thinking “Yes Sir!” in my head. I loved how firm, serious and patient he was. I also really love the female characters that Ms. Cartwright creates. They are always strong and independent women who know exactly what they want and go for it. Chelsea’s character did not disappoint. There is never any kind of silly misunderstandings, between the main characters, in her story lines which to be honest are usually there to make a book longer than it needs to be. As usual Ms. Cartwright wrote the book so it would be understandable to even a complete BDSM novice. I think what I liked most about this book, besides the incredibly hot sex scenes, was watching Chelsea struggle with actually being totally submissive. It was a real struggle for her once she came to realize that to be truly submissive she would have to give up all of her control while she was with Master Alexander. This book was definitely a lesson in what true submission really is all about and it was fascinating to me. Of course the sex scenes did not disappoint. Oh how I loved Master Alexander’s dirty mouth. Since each book in this series is about a particular Master the story always comes to a nice ending with no cliffhangers. I can’t even tell you how much I appreciate that. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading BDSM novels. I’m very much looking forward to the third book in the series, which should be out very shortly.
Summary from the author:
Book #1 of the ‘This Man Trilogy’
Due to sexual content, this book is recommended to persons aged 18+
Young interior designer Ava O’Shea has an appointment for a first consultation at The Manor with the owner, Mr Jesse Ward. She is expecting nothing more than an overweight, cravat wearing, well-to-do countryman, and on arrival, nothing would suggest otherwise. How wrong could she be? This Man is devastatingly handsome, charming and confident. He is also a conceited, hedonistic playboy, who knows no boundaries. Ava desperately does not want to be attracted to him, but she can’t control the overwhelming affect he has on her. Every instinct is telling her to run, so she does, but Jesse Ward is not so willing to let her go. He wants her and is determined to have her. She knows she is heading for heartbreak, but how can she run when he won’t let her?
This book is was one of the hottest, wildest and most frustrating books I have ever read. Jeese Ward is a sex God! I want this man to be real so that he can come and trample all over me. This man oozes sex like no other male character I have ever come across. He is determined to get the woman of his dreams and will stop at nothing until he has her. Sigh…. Now let’s talk about Ava O’Shea. What a frustrating and confused woman to say the least. I have no idea how she had the will power to fight off Jesse as long as she did, or why she even wanted to in the first place. Ms. Maplas did and incredible job with her very first book. She has created one of the most delicious alpha male characters I have ever come across. I love the way Jesse’s feelings for Ava drive him to do insane things to get her to be his. I want a man to come after me just like this!!! Where the heck to I find myself a real life Jesse? Now as wonderful as the story is, let’s talk about that mother of all cliff hanger endings. How in the world could Jodi do this to us? Thankfully anyone reading the book now won’t have to suffer the way readers did before the second book came out. All in all I highly recommend this book to everyone. The sex scenes are super steamy hot. Jesse is super sexy and hot. I love this book and it has found a permanent spot on my top 20 favorites of all time. Jesse will now be the standard by which all future men will be judged. Christian Grey has nothing on Jesse Ward!!!
Summary from the author:
Too hot to handle . . .
Tabitha Allen grew up in the thick of Chaos-the Chaos Motorcycle Club, that is. Her father is Chaos’ leader, and the club has always had her back. But one rider was different from the start. When Tabby was running wild, Shy Cage was there. When tragedy tore her life apart, he helped her piece it back together. And now, Tabby’s thinking about much more than friendship . . .
Tabby is everything Shy’s ever wanted, but everything he thinks he can’t have. She’s beautiful, smart, and as his friend’s daughter, untouchable. Shy never expected more than friendship, so when Tabby indicates she wants more-much more–he feels like the luckiest man alive. But even lucky men can crash and burn . . .
I am in love!!!! I am in love with this book and with Shy Parker Cage! I want to be an old lady! I want to sit on the back of Shy’s Harley and be his old lady, damn it! What can I say, Kristen Ashley managed to hit another grand slam with this new book and series. Bikers! I love bikers. Bad boys that do really bad stuff and then come home to their old lady and do really bad stuff to them between the sheets. Yup! Sign me up!!! But seriously, Kristen Ashley did a phenomenal job showing the simmering love between Shy Cage and Tabby Allen, who has been in love with him since they first meet and she was only 16 years old. It’s Shy’s job to rescue young party animal Tabby from dangerous situations. This annoys the guy beyond belief but what he doesn’t realize is that he’s slowly falling in love her. After a major loss in Tabby’s life she turns to Shy and he’s able to slowly bring Tabby back to her old happy self. The entire time she however is trying to bury the love she is beginning to feel for him. I really loved how this book showed more of the loving side of bikers and how important the brotherhood and their families are to each other. There wasn’t a lot of angst which I was really happy about. It was just this sweet and sexy ride to a beautiful happy ending for these two deeply wounded souls. The book did have some exciting side plots that will keep the reader hanging on. This book was very familiar to Ms. Ashley’s other series, Unfinished Heroes so if you enjoyed any of those books you will surely love this one. I highly recommend this book to people who love the biker theme and who love alpha male characters. I will anxiously await the next book in the series.
